The tale of Yoshinoya commenced back in 1899 within a modest establishment nestled in the Nihonbashi Fish Market. This unassuming shop specialized in Gyudon, also known as the Beef Bowl. The heart of this dish lies in an authentic special broth that’s seasoned with a carefully guarded blend of herbs and spices. Paired with the sweetness of onions, this flavorful concoction was served atop a bed of fluffy Japanese rice, offering a wholesome and delectable meal that was relished by fishermen and market-goers alike.

As the years rolled on, Yoshinoya embarked on a swift global expansion, venturing into diverse locations including Japan, the USA, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore..

Yoshinoya’s journey in Singapore commenced in 1997, marked by a petite outlet in Ngee Ann City. Since then, it has burgeoned to encompass 11 restaurants across the island. The Singaporean branches boast an extended menu of Donburi, presenting an array of beloved dishes such as Teriyaki Chicken, Salmon, Ebi Fry, and Tori Karaage.

Most of the Donburi offerings come complete with a vibrant and balanced medley of vegetables, ranging from broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower to long beans and cabbage. This meticulous attention to detail ensures a colorful, nourishing, and well-rounded dining experience.
