TORI-Q is a popular Japanese yakitori chain with its roots tracing back to 1994 when Yohei Takeda established a small takoyaki stand at Clarke Quay. TORI-Q open its first outlet within Takashimaya Shopping Centre in 2000. Since then, it has grown steadily. The name TORI-Q cleverly combines the Japanese word for “grilled chicken” (yakitori) with the aspiration for “quality” and an “endless queue” of customers, reflecting the brand’s commitment to excellence and popularity.
